Towing
can be terrific fun, taking the boat to a new fishing spot, getting
your horse to a competition or caravanning to new places. But
to tow safely and with confidence a few basic skills need to
be learned.

Towing involves several key competencies and here at Tow-Ed
we have identified the following subjects to be main focus
of the training:
- safety & maintenance checks
- legal aspects of towing
- trailer dimensions
- loads and loading
- types of hitches
- driving and manoeuvring techniques
- braking techniques
- reversing
- launching and recovery of boats (if applicable)
- carry out vehicle and trailer pre & post trip
inspections
By attending a towing course at Tow-Ed you will enjoy the

We conduct our courses at a variety of venues,
so when you apply for training, we can advise you of your nearest
training
venue. In addition Tow-Ed conducts Off Road Towing courses
for the owners of Camper Trailers who want to venture off the
beaten
track to enjoy their asset.
